Water

Water: the foundation of life. Living beings as we know them require water to survive, and even we, the mighty humans, are yet to find a way to survive without it. It then seems that we should treasure this finite resource, but we don't.
1.7 trillion gallons of water go to waste each year. That's like if 1.7 trillion gallons of milk was wasted in a cheese factory.
I'm not here to preach the multiple methods people have for saving water but I am instead here to convince you to care.
Anyone that drinks about 2 liters of water every day will tell you that it is a transformative experience. Many people become blinded by the bastardization of the juice of life, even though our bodies yearn for the pure substance. Simple water helps me stay awake, focused, and energized.
In a world where water could potentially become scarce, those feelings could be heavily dampened. In order to preserve your own personal health, it is in your best interest to preserve our world's supply of pure, unadulterated water.
